Matthew Bennett – Founder & Head Land Agent
Matthew lives locally and has been in the property sphere for 21 years & is highly regarded by the local community and property industry! He has extensive knowledge and can offer advice on all aspects of residential property. Matthew heads up Orchid Land and New Homes division working with many clients in providing robust strategies for land disposal and acquisitions as well as development consultancy and new home sales. When he is not at the helm of Orchid Matthew enjoys boxing coaching, walking his dog Vesper the Vizsla and spending time with family.
Jacob Deacon - Sales Director
Jacob joined Orchid in 2013. Jacob lives locally and he brings extensive sales experience and enthusiasm. Jacob heads up residential sales and conducts the majority of valuations. Jacob also conducts viewings meaning our clients have the very best handling their home. When he is not selling properties Jacob enjoys playing football and golf.
Hazel Heppell, Head of Sales Progression
Hazel has been with Orchid since the company first formed in January 2008. Hazel is the main point of contact once a property is under offer and liaises with seller, solicitor and buyer to ensure the sale proceeds efficiently through to exchange and completion. When Hazel is not busy keeping the solicitors and buyers in check she plays and competes at Tennis.
Louisa Groves - Lettings coordinator
Louisa joined Orchid in January 2017 following a successful career as a buyer in London for a high end retailer. Louisa lives locally and loves Boxmoor. Her attention to detail is second to none and is very methodical which is absolutely key in the lettings sector. Louisa handles all lettings administration as well as quarterly inspections on our fully managed properties. When Louisa is not busy working at Orchid she can be found spending time with her husband and two children which includes lots of home baking.
William Alexander – Negotiator
William joined Orchid in 2017 following three years working in retail. William lives locally and has always had a huge interest in property. He is very client focused and offers a great client experience, which is paramount for Orchid. William conducts lettings and sales viewings. When he is not letting or selling properties, he can be found on the football pitch playing for his local team.
Steven Pellier - Head of Lettings
Steven joined Orchid in 2020 having racked up an impressive 20 years in the hospitality, weddings, events, lifestyle and interior design sector. He is totally client centric which he brings from his extensive experience in hospitality. Steven also worked at a leading London agent so brings a great blend of experience and understanding of the industry and people. The passion for property has lured Steven back into agency and we are delighted to have him heading up our lettings division. When Steven is not working he likes to spend time at his holiday home in Portugal and travel the world.
Jesse Highfield - Land Researcher
Based in our Boxmoor office, Jesse joined Orchid in 2019 and focuses his energy on identifying land opportunities through his extensive research and analysis. With a black book of contacts and his background of working for a regional housebuilder, he is well placed for bringing great opportunities to the table. When Jesse is not in the office he spends time in the Gym and playing football.
Steven Cook – Partner, Aylesbury Office
Steven heads up Orchid Property Group in association with Cook Real Estate. Steven is best known for being a fourtime, three weight kickboxing World Champion but when he wasn’t training to defend his titles he was prolific in property investment, sales & rentals for private clients. Steven is very entrepreneurial and well versed in business. He has built up a plethora of clients and contacts over the years so is a perfect fit to take on the Orchid brand in a new town for the company.
